What we keep.

Last updated 26 August 2026.

01

Your account

A username, a password hash, and the time you accepted these terms. That is the whole account. We do not ask for your email, your phone number, your legal name or your date of birth, so we cannot lose them.

02

Your profile

Everything on a profile is public by design: the name, the links, the photo, the totals, the ranks and the payment history. That is what the leaderboard is. Every social you prove also places you on that platform’s board under the same name. Do not put anything on a profile you would not put on a billboard.

03

Payments

Payments happen on public blockchains. We record the transaction reference and the paying wallet address so a payment can be matched to a bid and cannot be claimed twice. Those records are as public as the chain they came from. We never see or hold your keys.

04

Visitors

We count views and outbound clicks so creators can see what a position bought them. Visitors get a random identifier in a cookie purely to keep one person refreshing from counting as a thousand. No name, no profile, no advertising network, no cross-site tracking — and the identifier is discarded on a schedule rather than kept.

05

Images

Profile photos are stored with a cloud storage provider and served publicly. Replacing a photo deletes the one it replaced.

06

What we do not do

No advertising, no selling data, no third-party analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no sharing with anyone who is not needed to run the site.

07

Deleting things

Ask and we will remove your profile and account. Payments already settled on a blockchain cannot be deleted by us or by anyone — that is what a public ledger is.

Outsocial keeps as little as the product can work with. If a question is not answered here, the answer is probably that we do not collect it.
